Facts that find you

Braintasia drops short, surprising facts about the topics you love, one at a time, at random moments in your day.

How it works

• Pick any topic. Octopuses, Ancient Rome, black holes, your favourite band: if it's real and suitable for all ages, it works.
• Choose how often. Once or twice a day, a few times a week, or a few times a month.
• Choose where. Notifications in your browser or the Android app, or email.

Each topic also has a quiz once you've had a few facts, and the Fact Wall lets anyone browse facts on thousands of topics without signing up. Every day there's a new Fact Bomb of the Day for everyone.

Where the facts come from

Facts are written with the help of AI (Google's Gemini), one topic at a time, and checked against the facts that topic already has so you don't get the same one twice. Readers rate every fact with a thumbs up or down, and those votes decide which facts show first on each topic's page. AI can get things wrong: if a fact looks off, vote it down or tell us.

Free to use

Braintasia is free. Topic pages may link to related gifts on Amazon, and we earn a small commission if you buy something there, at no cost to you.
